The Hive

I hate bees, but am trying to build a better understanding & love for them. I've always loved how honeycomb look & was amazed & how they create it. Randomly I had the idea to try to draw one. The bees were the hardest part. I made this piece on an 11x14 Stretched canvas, using apple barrel acrylic paints, scotch tape,& mod Podge Gloss sealant as a finish. I will be posting the sped up making of this piece on tiktok @ashontaysimms.
